The Hamburger is one of the first food items in EarthBound. It is bought in Onett, Twoson, and Fourside's burger shops for $14, selling for $7. It can be found in a trash can and gift box in Onett, in Giant Step, and in the Monkey Cave. It is also always dropped by Pogo Punks and occasionally dropped by Cops and Urban Zombies. It heals 48 HP upon use.
The Hamburger is generally used in Onett and Twoson. Its cheap cost makes it useful to keep around compared to its versatility and can be used as an alternative to Lifeup. Once the player reaches Fourside, it is superseded by the Double Burger.
