Gerardo Montague is a character in EarthBound. He is a construction worker who first appears as a famished construction worker in Dusty Dunes Desert. After Ness offers him food, he begins an excavation during which he ultimately discovers a Diamond (without his own knowledge). On Ness' way back to Fourside, his brother George brings him the Diamond, and mentions Gerardo still promises Ness a greater treasure.

- Towards the end of the game, Gerardo reappears in Saturn Valley to assist with the Mr. Saturns with building the Phase Distorter. If Ness talks to him, Gerado states that he would help the party, but stays behind to assist in building the Phase Distorter, as it is important for a man to enjoy doing his own duty.
- After Giygas is defeated, Gerardo congratulates the party, and mentions that he wants to see Ness again and have a picnic, along with a game of horseshoes.
- Gerardo seems to hate pizza but would still accept it.
