Mother Music Revisited is a re-imagined soundtrack of the original Mother album released back in 1989. The soundtrack was composed by Keiichi Suzuki and Hirokazu Tanaka and lyrics written by Linda Hennrick. The album was released on January 27, 2021 on CD, Vinyl and digital streaming by Columbia Records and Better Days label.
Mother Music Revisited is different from the original 1989 album, The re-imagined album was recorded in Japan primarily instead of multiple studios throughout England like in the original. None of the original collaborators from the original album return in the re-imagined soundtrack instead Keiichi Suzuki provides all the lead vocals himself in all of the seven vocal tracks.
