The Cemetery is a mandatory location in EarthBound Beginnings. Found south of Podunk, the cemetery consists of many tombstones, gnarled trees, and a church. It is the home of many PseudoZombis and Gang Zombies. Within the chapel is a priest who wants to stop the zombies by "teaching them about God" but cannot because the zombies do not listen or even speak to him. Ninten must go east, slightly south, east again, then back north to get to the Crypt. Among the tombstones are three golden pillars under which lies a passage leading to a dark cave. The missing Pippi is found trapped inside the lower left of the four coffins, the rest of which contain PseudoZombis. After rescuing her, Pippi temporarily joins Ninten and follows him for a short time before heading back to her family once she is rescued.
